Actual priced examples of chairs
The prices on this page are guides, though pretty good ones. We will help you get exact pricing in our normal sourcing process. For ease of illustration, the assumption is that one 40ft HQ container is filled with just one chair type; in practice we will arrange for mixed containers.
The price on our quote to you is FOB. FOB is a standard term used to indicate that the factory is responsible for the product and its delivery to the port they specify on the quote; we always recommend FOB pricing. You will then pay several additional charges before you get to the true cost price, when the chairs are delivered to your premises.

- Customs clearance and other port costs – £100
- Insurance - £20
- Import duty - Zero on whole chairs, (2.5% on chair parts) £0
- UK delivery port to client - £450
- Total around £2,200
(And of course, VAT – 20% on the combined total of (Product + Insurance + freight)

FOB each $19.50. (£12.82 at exchange $1.52 = £1)
Qty in 40ft HQ – 1500 units. Transit cost per chair £2,200/1,500 = £1.46
